With over 18 years of experience, Nicole is the Founder of Golden Soul Salon and specializes in helping guests determine what they're looking for to create a hair color and style that are customized to truly fit their lifestyle.

Growing up in a small town outside of Detroit, Michigan Nicole knew she wanted as much as the industry had to offer — which led to her moving away from Romeo, Michigan and starting her career in Chicago 2008. Working with mentorship she was able to complete an extensive training program that led to her passion in education and sharing knowledge with others. Nicole continued to grow within that company becoming the Salon Director of the Chicago location and eventually the Educational Director of the entire company. In that, she created and taught an apprentice program to multiple salon locations across the country on a weekly basis.

She has been a platform artist on stage at the International Beauty Show of America, Paul Mitchell Caper and America's Beauty Show. Nicole has also styled hair for multiple editorial photoshoots that have been in print and worked with celebrities such as Lena Olin, Geoff Stults, James Cassells and Joe Mangianello.

Now residing in Austin since 2013, Nicole proudly owns a salon at the iconic intersection of S Lamar and Barton Springs. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and using what she has learned to mentor others, leading her team to success. Rebranding her salon space during the pandemic of 2020 she came back with more determination than ever. Accepting guests 3 days a week, Nicole’s focus is now heavily on the business and providing her team with everything they need to provide an incredible salon experience.

Outside of the salon Nicole enjoys spending time with her dogs (3 basset hounds), tending to her rare houseplant collection, loves traveling + photography, as a survivor is very passionate about mental health and being an ally to the LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC community.
